Questa  performed geotechnical studies for rehabilitation of portions of Valley View Road that had experienced extensive pavement cracking due to the increase in traffic and an undersized pavement section.

A design- level investigation was performed, including surface mapping of deformation, soil borings, laboratory testing of collected soils, and pavement section design. A report presented results of the investigation and recommendations for pavement rehabilitation to minimize the effects of pavement cracking.

Reconstruction of the pavement section was completed in 2003.  Valley View Road is now a state-of-the-art roadway capable of handling current and anticipated traffic loads.
