Questa performed soil observation and testing services and special inspection during construction of the Richmond Intermodal Transit Station facility, which links the Amtrak Capitol Corridor with BART at the Richmond facility located on MacDonald Avenue in downtown Richmond. Services included geotechnical observations and testing, foundation excavation observations, compaction testing of fill and reworked native materials, steel rebar inspection, concrete testing, utility line inspection and other special inspections as needed during completion of the project. As a subcontractor to Questa, Applied Materials and Engineering (AME) performed special inspection services for welding, steel inspection, concrete sampling and testing and other services. |
