In 1997-1999, Questa completed feasibility studies, permitting, and design construction oversight for two, side-by-side, 10,000-gpd onsite wastewater systems that include recirculating sand filters, transmission lines, and pressure-dosed leachfields adjoining a golf course to serve an existing school, and a newly clustered subdivision development.

Questa also developed complete operation, maintenance, and contingency documents for both facilities. Unique features of the project include a STEP collection system for some facilities, 2.5 miles of force main, four lift stations, gravelless drainfield trenches, and remote monitoring and control systems.

Both systems are currently in operation, with Questa providing ongoing maintenance and monitoring services, including remote monitoring/control and quarterly reporting to Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board.
