Questa completed a hydrological/hydraulic investigation and developed a Creek Protection Plan (CPP), C3 analysis, and post-construction storm water management plan for development of the 24-lot Felton Subdivision in the Oakland Hills, to help ensure that work complies with City of Oakland storm water drainage, creek protection, and storm water quality ordinances, as well as the design criteria of the Alameda County Flood Control District.
Felton Creek, Tunnel Creek and Grandview Creek are potentially impacted by the project. Questa prepared a Hydrology Report summarizing the potential effects of the proposed development on the hydrology, hydraulics, geomorphology, creek stability, and riparian corridor. The CPP and stormwater plan includes development of erosion and sediment control measures and other water quality protection measures to be implemented during and after construction to stabilize exposed soils and protect riparian habitat and water quality. Questa also prepared a creek and oak woodland enhancement and mitigation landscape plan for this project. |
